Marc Dey is an experienced scriptwriter, creator, and children’s writer, with a current focus on animation.

Marc’s show NINJA PRINCESS is in development with eOne, Disney, and Triggerfish; and INTERGALACTIX is in development with Lunch Box.

Marc was a winner of the STORY LAB initiative run by Triggerfish Studios and Disney. The win afforded him accelerated training from international industry experts, as well as an immersion period at Disney Studios. Marc has created multiple properties, including the comic book series The Passengers and the documentary On a Thumb and a Prayer.

With degrees from the Universities of Cape Town and Johannesburg, Marc was a seminar convenor, tutor and lecturer at the Centre for Film and Media Studies at UCT. His courses included Mockumentary Television, Media & Writing and Writing for Comics & Sequential Art. Marc was a tutor and researcher at the Psychology Department in fields including Social Psychology, Intergroup Relations, Cognition and Neuroscience, and Brain Behaviour.
