Marc Dey is an experienced scriptwriter, creator, and children’s writer, with a focus on animation.

Marc’s animated preschool series KIYA & THE KIMOJA HEROES, (eOne, Disney, Triggerfish, Frog Box, TeamTO) launched on Disney+ and Disney Jnr in 2023.

Marc has a decade of experience in the learning industry as an educational specialist. An Executive Producer and writer on Kiya, Marc also creates scripts and develops other properties. He is a co-founder of Play Nice, a collective of writers, and creators developing and creating content, with a specific focus on Africa.

Marc was an inaugural winner of the STORY LAB initiative run by Triggerfish Studios and Disney. As a creator of original content and a writer for hire, Marc has worked with Disney, eOne, Wekids, Baobab Studios, Snipple Animation, Aurora World, Lucan and Triggerfish Animation Studios.
