Luke is a world-renowned chef and restaurateur.

Luke is a British-born chef who studied in Switzerland and England. He spent five years at restaurants across Asia, adding to his culinary skills. Now based in Cape Town, he has won numerous awards for his work at La Colombe. The restaurant won the Acqua Panna Best Restaurant in Africa and Middle East in 2010 and was ranked 12th in the overall San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. 

Luke is the brains behind The Test Kitchen and The Potluck Club. In 2018, The Test Kitchen won Best Restaurant in Africa at The World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards. Luke has also collaborated on The Shortmarket Club and Salsify at the Roundhouse, popular fine dining eateries in Cape Town.
