Devin John Doyle

Devin John Doyle is a screenwriter, working in film, TV,  and games.

One of seven writers on 2017’s hit RPG DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2, Devin is now the lead writer on an unannounced project at Dontnod Entertainment in Paris. Winner of the Red Planet Prize in 2018, Devin’s original drama A DEVOTED WIFE AND MOTHER is in development for ITV.

Before graduating from the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in both directing and screenwriting, Devin spent twenty years working in advertising in Dublin and Sydney. Born Irish in London, and raised in Dublin, Devin also holds Australian citizenship. At home, he speaks French with his wife and their two French-Irish-British-Australian daughters.

2018: Winner of the Red Planet Prize, A DEVOTED WIFE AND MOTHER is currently in development with Red Planet Pictures and ITV.

2015-2018: Writer, Larian Studios’ DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2. A narrative-heavy computer RPG, DOS2 and a worldwide hit.

2015: Storyliner, RTÉ’s FAIR CITY. Ireland’s top soap opera (500,000 viewers per episode).

2015: Writer, RAPT. Award-winning sci-fi horror web series for RTÉ. 

2007: Co-writer, director, BRIXTON BOBGalway Film Centre/RTE-funded short film
